This is a great photograph. It incorporates many strong elements into a well balanced composition that moves the viewers eyes into the distance and then back to the foreground, but never lets them leave the frame. It has interest, mood, and (in a fantastical way) it is very compelling.
The shot is a little over-processed for my taste, but that's a personal thing. It certainly makes up in artistic quality what it may lack in realism. The horizon slopes slightly down to the right. I would level that. But otherwise there is very little to find fault with.
You should be very proud of this image. It shows maturity and technical ability. Congratulations!
I'm writing this critique on behalf of myself and %TheSp0t.
I absolutely love this photograph and I doubt there will be much for me to critique but feedback is feedback so I'll give it a go.
Vision - 5/5 You have clearly thought about this shot before taking it and it shows in the photograph. The composition is creating a nice balance between the sky and the rocks in the foreground without including too much or too little of either. You've also found the perfect vantage point to include the sunset in a beautiful way.
Originality - 5/5 There are so many photographs like this out there that it can be difficult to be unique but I think this photograph manages just that. The colour scheme is very dark and dramatic which is unique for this kind of photograph.
Technique - 5/5 A photo like this requires great technical skill and an understanding for your subject and I think you have definitely mastered that, there are no technical flaws to be seen, at least not in my eyes.
Impact - 5/5 This photograph definitely caught my attention when I first saw it, and it leaves a great impact on me as a viewer. It makes me want to visit this scene as well as look at more of your work.
